New Win: Barrick Gold!

Exciting news and an important win for the entire company— Damstra has signed a global Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Barrick Gold in North America!

Barrick Gold is one of the world's largest gold and copper mining companies, with 26 global mine sites in 13 countries, and over 48,000 workers across North America, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. The company signed an agreement with Damstra for a Global Training and Competency Management solution that will include our eLearning and Digital forms solutions under our Enterprise Protection Platform (EPP).

The project will improve Barrick’s current learning and training management through standardizing and digitizing training on a global scale and creating a single approach for employees and contractors through training courses and training records.

The long-term goal is to implement this program globally at 25 sites implemented involving 40,000+ workers. Our initial rollout will be to its three largest mines in North America (Nevada Gold Mines), the Dominican Republic, and Africa that encompass 15,000 contractors and other workers. Following the implementation at these three sites, the solution will be rolled out to the rest of Barrick's global locations!

Damstra will instantiate a site-by-site, role-by-role training matrix that will drive training delivery, completion documentation, and renewals management through our digital solution suite. The EPP will store everything in one place, provide a robust scheduling environment for online eLearning, Digital Forms for Supervisor / Observation Training, and integration with Oracle Element for HR and eLearning. The deployments include support for English, Spanish, and French.
